Voices of Pride:
Lancaster
Celebrating LGBTQ+ Voices Through Stories,
Poetry, Art & Photography
Voices of Pride is a community publishing project celebrating the creativity, diversity and lived experiences of LGBTQ+ people across Lancaster and Morecambe Bay.
Bringing together writers, artists, photographers and storytellers of all ages, the project will culminate in a professionally published anthology, creative workshops, a public exhibition and a community launch event.
More than simply producing a book, Voices of Pride is about creating opportunities for people to share their stories, celebrate their identities and build meaningful connections through creativity.
Working alongside local organisations, businesses and community partners, we're creating a welcoming and inclusive project that will leave a lasting record of LGBTQ+ voices for future generations.
Whether you'd like to contribute, partner with us, volunteer or sponsor the project, we'd love to hear from you.
Not Just an Anthology
Stone walls preserve history. Stories preserve people.
Voices of Pride is more than an anthology. It is a community publishing project that celebrates LGBTQ+ voices through storytelling, poetry, art and photography. Together, we're creating opportunities for people to share their experiences, celebrate their creativity and leave a lasting legacy for Lancaster and Morecambe Bay.
